Colorado Resources:

OneColorado – LGBTQ advocacy group working to secure and protect equality for LGBTQ Coloradoans through educational programming, researching public opinions, mobilizing community of LGBTQ people and their allies and developing campaigns to build support for LGBTQ rights.

OutBoulder – community center in Boulder fostering safe environments for LGBTQ persons, advocating in collaboration with other organizations for social justice and educating the public about LGBTQ experiences.

Boulder County AIDS Project (BCAP) – Non-profit organization whose mission s to provide support, advocacy and education to those in the community infected with or affected by HIV.

Boulder Valley Women’s Health Center – a LGBTQ friendly health center who mission is to provide accessible, confidential and comprehensive gynecological and reproductive health care, including sexual health services and education.

CU GLBTQ Resource Center – support and resource center for GLBTQIA students at the Boulder campus.

The Gender Identity Center of Colorado  – provides support, outreach and advocacy for all forms of gender identity and expression and to educate the public regarding the same.

MESA (Moving to End Sexual Assault) – the sole rape crisis center serving Boulder and Broomfield, it provides support services to sexual assault survivors and their families.

Parents, Friends, and Families of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) – provides support to family and friends of LGBTQ persons.

Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence (SPAN) – provide specialized community training and technical assistance programs, as well as anti-violence/anti-oppression coalition building with individuals, agencies and institutions throughout Boulder and Broomfield counties.

Trans Youth Education and Support (TYES) – peer-facilitated support group for transgender/gender variant children and their families.

Colorado Civil Rights Division – state government entity handling complaints of discrimination in employment, housing and places of public accommodation.

The GLBT Community Center of Colorado (“The Center”) – nonprofit community center dedicated to providing support and advocacy for Colorado’s gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender (GLBT) population.

ACLU of Colorado – the State’s oldest and largest civil rights organization working to protect, defend and extend the civil rights and civil liberties of all people in Colorado through litigation, education and advocacy.
